Product-specific shear module

The add-on “Product-specific shear module” is available in the expert software GLASGLOBAL® for the static verification of glazing according to DIN 18008.  In GLASGLOBAL® the shear modulus for composite layers (e.g. Trosifol®, SentryGlas®) can be considered depending on the type of load.

Here is an overview of the most important innovations:

  • Shear modulus for composite layers depending on the type of load can be taken into account
  • thus use of real shear modulus values; no standard values
  • Composite layers of Trosifol® already implemented, such as SentryGlas®.
  • User-defined composite layers can be stored
