GLASGLOBAL® 16612
The professional structural analysis software GLASGLOBAL®16612 includes all necessary calculations and load assumptions. GLASGLOBAL® 16612 can be used to statically dimension glass in accordance with the European standard (EN16612). All loads to be taken into account, such as snow, wind, dead weight, traffic loads or climatically induced fluctuations in air pressure and temperature, are checked during the calculation. Stress and deflection are compared with the permissible values and displayed on a clear result printout.
Stress and deflection are compared with the permitted values and displayed on a clear result expression.
Features:
- Horizontal and vertical glazing
- Symmetrical and asymmetrical laminated glass
- Membrane stress effectfor non-linear load-bearing behavior
- Consideration of the shear bond (EN 16612, Annex. D; -values)
- Optimization of glass thicknesses (proposal module and size matrix)
- Maximum edge load in the edge seal of insulating glazing units
- Loads from climate and local heights
- Calculation of all relevant load cases
Maximum chord shortening - Adjustable defaults for values that may differ in European countries, such as partial safety or combination coefficients
- Sound database to determine the Rw value for specific superstructures
- Validation by the University of Munich
